Kung Fu Fighting

I am now officially the proud mother of Tigress and Master Monkey-straight out of Kung Fu Panda! I took the kids today to Chattanooga to the Rave theatre and they just loved it. At first it was a little slow for me and then Jack Black's comical side exploded and we were all laughs from there. The kids are so in to this movie now that they had to have Chinese for dinner, where they each attempted to eat with chop-sticks and of course had to bring a set home! Here are their 'moves.' They were practicing for when daddy got home--so they could 'kung fu fight him!'

Camping Trip at Lake Ocoee

Once again, we took the kids camping. Normally we head to Doll Mountain at Carter's Lake, but have recently fallen in love with the banks of the Ocoee. It is so peaceful, serene and clean! The kids loved our set up because it was right on the banks and they had free range to 3 shore lines! They were the only children out of 5 couples--and needless to say that got plenty of attention! Between all of us we had two boats-a Pontoon and a Ski-boat (with a tube)! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again soon!

Lil' Granny's Pool

Eden and Iris had a blast playing at Lil' Granny's pool together! Hank and Iris learned to go down the slide, and Eden off the diving board (she was doing the slide last year). What big girls Eden and Iris are--swimming without floaties!

Men's Softball

Here is our church's Men's Softball team! I am not exactly sure what their record was--but of course they were awesome! Kelly really enjoys playing with the team and all his buddies--most of which are guys he has grown up with. Here is he and Eden being silly as well!

Happy Father's Day, Kelly

The kids loved making their Father's Day presents this year for Kelly! Not counting what they made for him at school. We three worked together on making picture frames that embraced the ambiance of our family vacation--I will post pictures of them later (they are still not quite finished) and the love that Kelly has for his two babies!
My children love their Daddy so much and I could not ask for a better husband! Happy Day, Kell-we love you!

Lake Ocoee

We hit the lake this weekend with our great friends; Jessica and Brent Baldrigde and Keith Whaley! We had so much fun and the waters of the Ocoee were beautiful and peaceful! The day started out with an overcast and ended with a bright and sunny sky! The kids enjoyed a day of swimming, lounging, eating, and sleeping! We didn't want to leave! I can't wait to camp next weekend!
