Busy Weekend

We had another wonderful, yet busy weekend! We started out very low key, just hanging around the house and the pool. Eden was very anxious to try out her new killer whale that she calls her dolphin. After church on Sunday we went to River's 8th birthday party. He had a slip-n-slide that all the children enjoyed! It was a great weekend!

Ashville, NC

Kelly and I took off last weekend to yet, another wedding. In the 6 years that Kelly and I have been married, it never fails that we go to at least one wedding every summer. This summer we were off to Ashville North Carolina for his friend Brian and his new bride Ashlee. It was a nice time. We left on Friday afternoon and drove a little more than half way and stayed at a nice litte hotel, tucked in to the side of the Smoky Mountains in Bryson City. Of course, with Kelly, we had to take the scenic route. It was actually a very nice drive through the Ocoee region and in to North Carolina. The mountains were beautiful. We drove the rest of the way Saturday morning to Ashville. It was a fun weekend with jus the two of us, which is very rare.

Summer Fun

We have had a great summer, so far! We love being at our condo and having access to the pool. We have made lots of new friends and so have the kids! We celebrated the 4th with Heidi, Justin and the kids and Tara and Lyric. We had a blast!

Coy

We babysat baby Coy a couple of weeks ago! The kids loved it, although Hank had a hard time sharing Mommy!

Starbucks

We recently were blessed with a new Starbucks on our street and needless to say it is the 'new' thing in our small town. The kids and I decided to check it out one night. Being a diabetic, I was sceptic, I didn't think there would be anything for me. To my surprise, they have two sugar-free choices, I was so excited! I got a sugar-free vanilla bean iced coffee--it was so good. I think I'm hooked. Not wanting to leave the kids out and didn't really want to dope them up on caffeine, I got them cookies. I didn't realize they were the size of their heads! So much for not being hyped-up!
