Our trip as chaperone's with the PGE 2nd graders to the Tennessee Aquarium. What an experience...and a blast. Kelly enjoyed the rest of our day in Chattanooga shopping and eating-an opportunity we never get. What a fun way to start off our Holiday season :)

Scout is Here
Scout, our friendly Elf on the Shelf, made his grand appearance in our home. Our kids ask about him year-round, and he finally showed up! Now time to get to work getting ready for Christmas, Scout is here to keep an eye on the kids and report everything to the big guy!!
Christmas on Campus
What a great way to commemorate a wonderful year for our family with a photo shoot of where it all began. This year I finally graduated from Covenant College with my degree that I started 12 (wow, 1997) years ago on this very campus. I thought it would make for some beautiful pictures to take the kids and Kelly up to my old campus and let the kids run around and explore "mommy's old stomping grounds." Although I was only on campus for two and a half years, I made a lot of memories and really enjoyed my time up on this mountain, "The Castle in the Clouds." It was a beautiful day, yet freezing on this Friday, the day after Thanksgiving (hence the empty campus) and the kids had free range of the place. The climbed on every rock and looked in every window. We had a wonderful time...brought back many, many memories! :)
We chose two of the photos (not posted) for our family Christmas card, I will post them at another time. The Overlook
Such a scenic view-made for some beautiful pictures

Celebrating 8
Kelly and I celebrated eight years of marital bliss over the Thanksgiving holiday. We didn't do anything special other than spending a lot of quality time as a family, which we needed and thoroughly enjoyed. This picture is from our trip up to Lookout Mountain and Covenant College with the kids and Eden was the photographer behind this one. Thanks Edibug.
Here is to many more to come...I love you Kelly.

Eden and River
The girls
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was supposed to be our year to travel south and have dinner with Donna and all the Bell's, but due to a rare visit from out of town family (cousin Kenley and fiance Melissa) we opted to stay home two years in a row. Also, for having such a BIG family we had our dinner at the First Baptist church. It was really nice to have all the room and the gym and indoor playground for the kids...they loved the freedom to run. We also had fun after eating playing several rounds of volleyball and watching football on the big screen. Yummy, and all the food was great too :)

Nutcracker Season
A preview to Eden's Nutcracker performance. She is a Soldier this year who gets to fight the Big Mouse King...here she is showing off as she says "Go Get the Mice," getting picked up by a mouse, and then her costumes. Eden is in three performances this year. We are so excited and can't wait to watch her shine!

November family project-to decorate a leaf any way you would like:
The finished project
Although, at times these projects seem tedious and time consuming, they are usually quite fun-bringing the whole family together to storm ideas for completion. Good job Hankie and Edibug.
