More Birthday

We were only to go wine-tasting, but in the end walked down the block to a local establishment. Happy Birthday Jess....Again!

Planet of the Grapes!

We went wine-tasting for Jessica's 23rd birthday! We had the best time. This place is so cute and quaint--and full of forty-somethings; so we felt a little out of place! But we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and all the cheese and crackers we could eat! Happy Birthday Jess!

Eden's Nails

Eden gets rewarded on a weekly basis for a good week at school. Normally, I take her to have her nails done at a salon, but this week she chose a different type of nails. She wanted "real" nails! You would never think they made press-on nails small enough for a five year old, but they do. Here she is showing them off! They have kitty-cats on them.

Wednesday Errands

Wednesday is one of my busiest days of the week. I work till 2:00, leave and pick up Eden from school, we usually run a couple of errands and then it is off to dance (tap). After tap, it is rush to get home and prepare dinner, do some house chores and then off to church. Today after dance and hanging at Dad's office getting our taxes done, we adventured off to Chinese buffet--me by myself. It was hard at first fixing two small children's plates and then trying to fix my own-all at the same time keeping them in their seats and from not being abducted. It was a small, but difficult task--Dad showed-up just in time to enjoy the kids in their ice cream bowls.

Bedtime Babies

This is what I walked in on, while preparing the kids for bed, several nights ago. Yes, that is the top of our headboard, and yes the kids are 'flying' from it.

But eventually, we got them settled down. Hank was all red-faced from his flying-festivities! They are so sweet at bedtime...if we could just get them in their own bed!

Pigeon Forge and Friends

We headed up to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg this weekend with twelve of our great friends! We had a really good time just hanging out in our 7 bedroom, 2 game room, 2 hot tub, cabin--it was so nice, and in downtown Gatlinburg where we did some shopping and snacking on foot long corn dogs. It was a great weekend for Kell and I to just get-away and have some 'adult-time,' although we did miss the kids. I can't wait to do it again next year!
