Story Writer

My almost-6 year old loves to read and write! She is all the time writing and drawing and making a story of her drawings. She likes to have them stapled together or tied with ribbons--her very own books! It is so exciting to see how excited she is to learn!

House Guest

We had the privilege of having the little Scruggs in our home this weekend, while Grandman and Mimi went away for a getaway! These two guys were awesome and all had a great time. I don't have any pictures, because I wasn't there, but while the girls and I had a spa-day, the boys went fishing! What a great weekend!

Hank and Lyric-little buds. Hank is such a gentleman; he was constantly helping Lyric along. They are so cute together!

Smiley Faces

Eden has been receiving all smiley faces in school (the required amount for her) and therefore is receiving them at home. At the end of the week, if she has 4 out of 7 days of smiley faces, then she gets to go to the dollar store and pick out a prize. She is loving this technique and is doing very good:)

Miss Ruby

Little Ruby is growing like a weed...she had her second Vet visit today and weighed 6lbs 1oz. She is getting bigger every day!

Easy Weekend

We had an easy but busy weekend at home with the kids! I really love our weekend evenings at home!

Friday night at home. The kids played dress-up and performed on 'stage' to music. Eden wrote in her secret jornal and Hank tried coloring with stencils! It was a quiet night at home with the family!

Saturday at the Hurt's house for Kale's birthday party! The kids had cupcakes with red icing--which was a mess!

We received a good report on Eden today from school and therefore treated her to a banana-split at Sonic! She loved it--but was not even able to eat half of it!
