Surprise!

We helped surprise and celebrate with our best friends last night for Kari's 30th birthday! We had so much fun-and it was nice to rub it in to the first friend of our group to turn 30! Too bad I am next

Old Stomping Ground

Eden is participating in a cheer leading camp at Northwest High this week...giving Kelly and I a chance to take a look around at all the changes in the past 10-14 years! I can't believe this is us with OUR children roaming our old high school campus...

Our little cheer leader--who would have thought!

Gearing up

The spirit of SEC football is filling our house and we are all anxiously awaiting the first game. The kids are just as excited as Kell and I are, due to the constant talk about our birthday presents from Nanny--tickets to the GA Southern game in Athens. We are going to be that cutsie couple--one wearing Georgia gear (me) and the other decked out in Eagle attire (Kelly's Alma mater). Look for us on TV!
Eden spent the afternoon drawing G's "like the one on mommy's car" and handing them out to Kell, Hank and I. They are so cute...

Go Dawgs!

ATL Falcons

What a fun night for Eden and Daddy, attending the Atlanta Falcons preseason game! She had a blast and of course Eden and Emma just had to have matching pink jerseys!

Evening out with Hank

Hank and I had the evening alone together while Eden and Daddy went to the Falcons preseason game with Cousins Eric and Emma. We went to the mall for some shopping and to catch a movie. We had so much fun together--even if Hank didn't make it all the way through, we left about an hour in to it!:)

Watching the 3D movie Fly Me to the Moon. Look how cute he is in those glasses!

Going for a 'ride' after the movie!

Last trip out...

Sums it all up---Kelly self-towing the boat to the campsite. What a fun-filled weekend!:) As always, great times with family and friends.

Changes

We have had a lot going on in our lives for the past week or so. I have been contemplating a job change for some time now, but as creature of habit, I have always avoided the possibility. Well, after much thought and praying, I made the decision this week to just go for it!

After an interview on Monday I finally made a decision...I took a job with the Whitfield County School system as a parapro for the local special education program for the 3 year old preschool! I am very excited for this change yet scared to death! I have always been an employee where my children have attended daycare or preschool (so I could make an income plus care for my children), and now with Eden in first grade and no longer needs childcare-she is fine, but I will be leaving my little Hank in the hands of others. I am very trusting of our church preschool (where I have been director for 2 years) and I know he will be just fine...it is just the thought of leaving him!

The plus side of my new job--summers and breaks off and home with my babies! I cannot wait!

Another bonus and change for our family is Eden's schooling. With me now being a county employee we have our choice of what county school we would like to send our children to. Kelly and I have always adored out Alma matters--Tunnel Hill Elementary (for me) and Pleasant Grove Elementary (for Kelly) and have had the desire for our children to attend them, but with our city residents, it has been impossible! Our current community that we are most active in is the Pleasant Grove community; the home of our church and my new job is just minutes down the road! We are also excited that big cousin River attends PGE as well--Eden will have a very own personal body guard:)!

So please keep my family in your prayers for we are beginning a whole new life change and we all will be affected by the changes. Kelly is sad that he no longer will have Eden as his morning commute partner. Eden is missing her old school and her old friends. Hank will be missing mommy sitting at the front desk every time he comes down the hallway. And I will be missing Hank, all my co-workers and best friends, and the daily routine that I have become accustomed to along with all the perks of being your own boss.

Stay tuned for I will be keeping you all posted on our new journey...
