"A gift that lives eternally"

There is nothing like the light in your children's eyes on Christmas morning. This has been one of the best years with the children...their belief in Santa is so real and better yet, they have an understanding of the true meaning of the season; the birth of Christ. We were able to have the best of both worlds this holiday season with our kids and boy was it fun!

Coming down the stairs to take a look...

He was here!

Santa hid one last gift on the tree for Eden...

...her very own cell phone (and yes, we are crazy)!

Santa left gifts for Baby Ava too.

Pop's and Ganny's turn to shower with gifts.

Dinner with Grandman, Meme, Uncle Kent, and Aunt Emma.

Hank ready for bed in his new Batman jammies and slippers...

Such a wonderful season come to an end.

God bless you all and Happy New Year!!

"Down the chimney...

St. Nicholas came..."

Tuesday, December 23

'Twas the Night before Christmas (Eve)...

and after baking 4 dishes, taking 3 trips to the hospital (see previous post), and 2 trips to Wal-Mart (exhausting), what do you do? You make cookies for Santa.

Well, I hope Santa doesn't mind little hands and possible toes, in his Chocololate Chip cookies.

Here is a picture of a plate I made with Eden when she was just 18 months old. She likes looking at it and placing, her now 6 year old, hands up to her smaller set (2003). They grow up so fast.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Baby Baldridge

My best friends, Jessica and Brent, finally welcomed their baby boy today. What a great day and praise the Lord for such a healthy baby and healing mom (Jess had a cesarean due to his size). Congrats guys...now your journey begins!

Proud Daddy looking in on his new baby boy.

Hank's turn for a peak. He was so excited yet a little confused. He wanted to know where Jessica was and when could he touch the baby. So sweet. Makes me want another one...but only for a few minutes!! :)

Finally, we were able to get a closer the look. The kids are in love. What a sweet blessing!
