What a way to end a (short) summer vacation...a day at good old fashion Lake Winnie! It was a day accompanied by Ganny, Heidi, River, Coy, a friend of Heidi's with two kids, Me, and Eden, Hank, and Emma! Wow. What a crew. We made a long day of it which started at 11AM and ending with the park closing at 8PM. We had so much and of course the kids had a ball!

Fresh Pimento Cheese

Once again I am posting pictures of food and once again I know some may say I've lost it. But this is no ordinary food...this is fresh out of my garden food. I had three pimentos on my pepper plant which have taken three months to develop--so needless to say I am proud.
This was absolutely the best pimento cheese ever...of course because I made it! The fresh pimento has a sweet-pepper taste that goes great with fresh grated cheese and a ripe, sliced, homegrown tomato! Yum-my!

I spent Wednesday all day in Chattanooga with Hank and Coy at the Creative Discovery Museum and Mellow Mushroom. They had so much fun exploring their curiosities...and George (the special exhibit at the time).

Movie Mania Star

My little star in her camp production of Movie Mania. Here she is after the show. I video taped it but cannot get it to upload. I am trying to figure out how to split it up. I will post it when I figure it out.
The show consisted of the kids trying to determine what film they wanted to produce; they did Enchanted, Wall-E, and Kung Fu Panda. Eden of course, was the star of the show, and was the cutest one out there...I am biased you know:)

Flag Football

Due to a summer league and no school-the kids and I were able to make it to some of Kelly's football games. This man of mine is obsessed with staying busy and its makes me happy to see him enjoying himself and keeping young:) He such an athlete and he makes me proud.
Here he is with his flag football team the Deep Balls (or DB's)--they kill me with their name choices. Boys.
