Changes

We have had a lot going on in our lives for the past week or so. I have been contemplating a job change for some time now, but as creature of habit, I have always avoided the possibility. Well, after much thought and praying, I made the decision this week to just go for it!

After an interview on Monday I finally made a decision...I took a job with the Whitfield County School system as a parapro for the local special education program for the 3 year old preschool! I am very excited for this change yet scared to death! I have always been an employee where my children have attended daycare or preschool (so I could make an income plus care for my children), and now with Eden in first grade and no longer needs childcare-she is fine, but I will be leaving my little Hank in the hands of others. I am very trusting of our church preschool (where I have been director for 2 years) and I know he will be just fine...it is just the thought of leaving him!

The plus side of my new job--summers and breaks off and home with my babies! I cannot wait!

Another bonus and change for our family is Eden's schooling. With me now being a county employee we have our choice of what county school we would like to send our children to. Kelly and I have always adored out Alma matters--Tunnel Hill Elementary (for me) and Pleasant Grove Elementary (for Kelly) and have had the desire for our children to attend them, but with our city residents, it has been impossible! Our current community that we are most active in is the Pleasant Grove community; the home of our church and my new job is just minutes down the road! We are also excited that big cousin River attends PGE as well--Eden will have a very own personal body guard:)!

So please keep my family in your prayers for we are beginning a whole new life change and we all will be affected by the changes. Kelly is sad that he no longer will have Eden as his morning commute partner. Eden is missing her old school and her old friends. Hank will be missing mommy sitting at the front desk every time he comes down the hallway. And I will be missing Hank, all my co-workers and best friends, and the daily routine that I have become accustomed to along with all the perks of being your own boss.

Stay tuned for I will be keeping you all posted on our new journey...
